Most of the best shows on HBO Max are dark dramas or gritty procedurals, but there’s one singalong comedy-drama set in Manhattan, Kansas that’s something else entirely. That isn’t to say that Somebody Somewhere is all sunshine and rainbows, but the series is just too warm-spirited to put us in a bad mood.
